Queenstown Park Station Open Day 2018

The Porter families, owners of Queenstown Park Station, are delighted to once again open their high country station for a recreational mountain bike ride on Sunday 18 February 2018.

This free recreational open day will take riders on a scenic journey from Boyd Road into the Station, below The Remarkables Mountain range alongside the Shotover and Kawarau Rivers, through rolling open country.

  • Pre-registration is requested
  • Riders can start any time between 9:30am – 11:00am at Boyd Rd, off SH6, south of the Kawarau Bridge
  • Riders to finish by 4pm, exiting by returning to Boyd Road or continuing on to Chard Farm
  • While this is not a Queenstown Trails Trust trail, they do such wonderful work in the Queenstown area that there will be an opportunity to make an optional charitable donation on the day to Queenstown Trails Trust

Riders are welcome to bring a picnic or buy food at the midway beach from Life’s a Grind Coffee, Popsicle Tricycle, Bacon Buttie, Pita Pit and Hikari Sushi. Water top-up station, toilets, first-aid and mechanical assistance will be provided.

For more information or to register (requested prior to 3pm Friday 16 February) please visit www.remarkablespark.com/community or for enquiries call 03 442 3084.

Special thanks to the neighbouring landowners Mike & Bridget Mee at Boyd Road, Rob & Gerdi Hay at Chard Farm, who greatly assist with access and parkin
