Kirsty Sharpe

Kirsty has lived in the Wakatipu for over 40 years. She and Bill have three sons, two of whom are living here with their families at Kelvin Heights. They have three grandchildren, one at Remarkables Primary and two pre-schoolers.

Kirsty has been a councillor on QLDC for nine years, is a Justice of the Peace, treasurer of Queenstown Grey Power Inc and co-ordinator of the Kawarau Bridge group which is seeking a second bridge crossing over the river. A keen gardener, she lives on Peninsula Road overlooking the old and new bridges over the Kawarau River and has a great view of what is going on at Frankton.
